Kim (Dr. Kim Meathrel M.D.) is a local surgeon, a graduate of the University of California Davis winemakers program, Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers, and owner of Decantress Wine and Spirits Education.

Chris Whyman (Kingston Town Crier) has held his position since 1984 and is a three-time winner of the Town Crier World Championships.

Rachel Mathies is an enthusiast in the field of both food and wine, and has spent almost 11 years in the downtown Kingston hospitality industry. Hoping to achieve her Sommelier certification in 2020, she has already completed levels 1, 2, and 3 of Wine & Spirit Education Trust and has a number of other certificates related to the appreciation of wine. Rachel also loves food and hosting dinner parties when she’s not serving customers at two of Kingston’s best known restaurants, Chez Piggy and Pan Chancho.

Robert Burkholder, a senior executive working with a nonprofit child and youth serving organization, was previously in a senior leadership position with the Ontario Government. An active volunteer with several charities, Bob has been enjoying food and wine from Prince Edward County since moving to Kingston in 2006.

Lubomyr Luciuk, a Kingstonian born and raised, is a professor of political geography at The Royal Military College of Canada and was one of the founding members of The Royal Winers and the Judgement of Kingston.
